Students pursuing this degree will take the Davis College of Business & 技术 Core 课程 courses in addition to required accounting courses and electives. These courses prepare the student to pass the CPA and/or CMA Exam, expanding their job opportunities upon graduation.

In the accounting program, we encourage our students to take the accounting certification exams during the summer following graduation while their accounting knowledge is still 新鲜的. The CPA and CMA demonstrate key technical knowledge needed to gain employment in public accounting, private industry, finance, and banking.

Many accounting majors go on to pursue their Master of Business Administration (MBA) 在居. Our Grad2Grad program offers the opportunity to receive both an undergraduate and graduate degree in as little as five years.
